Chant Poem<\/h2>\n

A chant poem has a repeated refrain.
\n1) Find a headline in a newspaper or magazine that you like the sound of. That will be your chant.
\n2) Write a four line rhyming poem where the first 2 lines rhyme and the last 2. AABB
\n3) Put the chant between each line and you have a chant poem.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s my attempt:<\/p>\n

Snow fell this morning, soft and white and cold,
\nI was thinking of our bench in Central Park today.<\/p>\n

I liked it more before I got so old,
\nI was thinking of our bench in Central Park today.<\/p>\n

I left the city a long time ago,
\nI was thinking of our bench in Central Park today.<\/p>\n

Now I hear sounds of birds\u2014the caws of crows,
\nI was thinking of our bench in Central Park today.<\/p>\n
